About The Artist

Welcome to my website and my ART!  

I’m a modern / abstract British artist based in beautiful Cornwall, where I live with my family and two adorable cocker spaniels.

Art has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I’d lose track of time — sketching in quiet corners, splashing paint across whatever canvas I could find. It was my escape, my joy, and where I could be myself.

I dreamt of continuing that journey after my time in education, but sadly, that path didn’t unfold the way I’d hoped — life swept in with other plans. But even when I wasn’t creating, that part of me never disappeared. 

Years later, travelling to distant places awakened that sleeping part of me. I was drawn in by colour, texture, and shape — the vibrant colours and textures in markets, the way sunlight danced on surfaces, the emotion tucked into every piece of architecture. Every corner of the world whispered something to my creative soul.

In my early forties, I finally stepped away from a high-pressure career in the city and returned to where I felt whole: creativity.  Interior design became my new canvas for many years, and building that business has been incredibly fulfilling — helping others shape their spaces with beauty and intention.

Yet there’s always been a quiet voice urging me to go back to basics. To pick up a brush. To create for myself.  

Living in Cornwall, in particular, has reignited all those feelings.  Inspiration is everywhere when you live so close to the coast.  It literally bubbles up from within.

Now, my studio is that sacred place. It’s not just about making art — it’s where I feel free.

Free to explore, to express, to be me. No deadlines, no expectations. Just me, the canvas, and a sense of peace that’s been a long time coming.
